From the initial survey, quotation and installation the service was excellent! Every member of staff that I dealt with was friendly, and knowledgeable! The 2 engineers did an excellent job of keeping the drilling holes to a minimum and cleaned up very well afterwards. In addition to the cavity wall insulation, they also had to fit a new vent due to our wood burner in the living room. They checked with us throughout the project that we were happy with what they were doing and asked for feedback at the end. Very professional and polite guys. How Many Heat Pumps Do I Need?

Depending on the size of your area, and the space available for the outside unit, you may need more or less heat pumps for your property. For example, three smaller heat pumps can do the job of one large heat pump. If the space for the large heat pump is not there, or it makes logistical sense to have 3 different heat pumps, then heat pump installation can be carried out in this way. How Long Does Heat Pump Installation Take?

Heat pumps can be utilised in a variety of spaces and the installation time depends on factors such as the number of heat pumps required, your chosen system and whether any internal appliances will need installing or updating. For heat pump installation, we advise around 3 days to fully complete the average commercial building’s needs – but our office and surveying team will be able to better advise you on how long you should allow for your heat pump to be installed.

How Much Money Can I Save With a Heat Pump?

There’s no debate that heat pumps are more energy-efficient than standard heating systems and can help you save money. If you previously used an electric or oil heating system, then you can see the most benefit from changing your heating system to utilise heat pump technology. While savings of up to 50% are possible compared to electric or oil boilers, those with gas boilers could still see a saving of up to 25%.

Do Heat Pumps Still Work When It’s Freezing Outside?

Heat pumps will work at full efficiency all the way down to -10, and continue to work all the way down to -20!
