Carbon Reduction Plan
As an installer of solar panels, battery storage and insulation, we help homes and housing providers cut their carbon emissions. We hold ourselves to the same standard, and this plan sets out how we reduce the impact of our own operations.
Electric fleet
We have begun replacing management vehicles with fully electric vehicles, and review further vehicles for electric replacement as they reach renewal.
Local installation teams
Our installation teams are based in different areas across our region, and each job goes to the team nearest the property wherever practicable, cutting travel and emissions.
Less waste
We segregate and recycle waste, use licensed carriers, send electrical waste to WEEE-compliant facilities and keep waste out of landfill wherever we can.
Our policy
Eco Systems Group recognises its responsibility to minimise the environmental impact of its operations and to support the transition to a low-carbon economy. Working across retrofit, insulation, renewable energy and energy efficiency, we are committed to reducing the greenhouse gas emissions from our activities while delivering sustainable solutions to our customers.
This plan forms part of our Environmental Management System and is reviewed at least once a year.

Measuring progress
We have set 2026 as our baseline year and aim to reduce our operational carbon emissions year on year against it. We track:
- vehicle fuel use and electric vehicle charging
- electricity and utility consumption
- waste and recycling
- business travel and procurement
Progress is reviewed every year by our senior management team as part of our annual Management Review.
Net Zero by 2050
We support the UK Government's target of Net Zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2050. Alongside reducing our own emissions, every solar panel, battery and insulation measure we install helps our customers reduce theirs.
We also protect wildlife and habitats during our works, prevent pollution through good housekeeping, and comply with all applicable environmental legislation.
